Configuration Language Working Group

The goal of this group is to make recommendations for a configuration language for the OISF IDS engine. Items to consider should include but not be limited to:

• A standard syntax for ALL modules and directive
• An easily machine parseable model
• Something extensible
• Something easy for the beginner to grasp

The recommendations of this group should be posted here and to the OISF mailing lists by August 12 2009.
